Job Description

Zaytuna College is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for assisting multiple senior executives at our organization. As Administrative Assistant, a major part of your responsibilities will include acting as the gatekeeper and first point of contact for the senior executives you assist; this includes managing a high volume of correspondence and calls. You will also contribute to the overall objectives of Zaytuna College by assisting the administrative team as required.

A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for this position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple calendars
  • Prepare correspondence and other documents as required
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel
  • Finalize meeting logistics
  • Direct communications and process internal documents
  • Assist with events
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of high-level administrative experience; at least 2 years experience supporting high-level executives or board members preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Arabic
  • Flexibility to work weekends, as needed
  • Demonstrated interest in and/or knowledge of Islam and the Muslim community
  • Ability to be discreet with sensitive and confidential information
  • Desires longevity and increasing responsibility
  • Master multi-tasker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Polished, professional demeanor and well-developed communication skills
  • Available to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
