ISF-Zaytuna Arabic and Islamic Studies Scholarship
The Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) and Zaytuna College are proud to announce the joint ISF-Zaytuna Arabic and Islamic Studies Scholarship for students enrolled in Zaytuna College. ISF accepts online applications annually for three months beginning in January. The $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to three Muslim students who have been accepted into Zaytuna College’s four-year degree program. As part of this award, recipients will be required to perform a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer work.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
1. Applicants must major in Islamic Law and Theology or Arabic Language.
2. Applicants must possess a minimum 3.4 grade point average.
3. Applicants must be active members of their communities.
4. Applicants must be full-time students.
5. Applicants must be Muslim.
6. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of U.S.

Selection Process:
The ISF and Zaytuna College Selection Committee is comprised of university professors, nonprofit organization leaders, and community members. This joint selection committee will review and score applications from April to June. Applicants receiving the highest scores will be scheduled for web-based video interviews in July. All applicants will be notified about the committee’s final selections during the first week of August.
Award Distribution:
ISF-Zaytuna Scholarships will be awarded during the second week of August. With certain exceptions, ISF’s policy is to send checks directly to the Zaytuna College. Exceptions can be made if the awards affect the applicant’s financial status.
