Zaytuna College, Year One
Making Faith and Learning Coexist
By the Grace of God, it has been a momentous twelve months for Zaytuna College. We have achieved significant and historic accomplishments, the highlight being the arrival of a group of incredible students from across America who now represent our inaugural freshman class. We also moved into our new campus in Berkeley, and, with a new cohort of students arriving for Fall 2011, we are expanding rapidly.
As our students near the completion of their second semester, we ask you to join us for a look back -- and a look forward -- at a venture that many thought not possible. Two of our co-founders, Imam Zaid Shakir and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, will welcome you to this special dinner reception and lead a discussion about the critical role that Zaytuna College can play in American higher education.
